I recently had the opportunity to witness a memory being made between Beth and her daughter. Here are a few of my favorites.

Mommy & Me
Mommy & Me sessions have a very special place in my heart. A chance to make a memory and document the relationship that exists between a mother and her child. The photograph I treasure the most is a small discolored image of my mom and I when I was a little girl.
Little Ms. A's Birthday Session
Silly, energetic & fashionable are all great qualities for a portrait subject to posses. Luckily, I received all three from little Ms. A at her big 5yr. birthday session. A's mama and I decided a fun urban kids session was the perfect choice for this exuberant little lady. Mom didi a great job on the wardrobe ( I LOVE the fedora!!) and A took care of the supply of cute!
Here are a few of my favorites from out down town Goldsboro session.

Tyndall Family
December is always full of crazy schedules, family functions, and the overall chaos of the holiday season. Of course it is the perfect time to schedule an experimental photo session with a family of four! All kidding aside, The Tyndall family graciously volunteered to work with me to create some fun night portraits at the town center in Farmville. It was a very chilly night, but they smiled and posed and seemed to have a great time. They Tyndall girls are pros at posing and grinning for the camera. I can't wait to work with this family again this summer.
Thank you Tyndall family for being so great and forgiving as I worked through the challenges of night photography.

Falcone Family
I love family portraits with all types of families. Each family brings their own unique flavor to the session and shares a little part of themselves with me. The Falcone family was no exception. The dynamic personalities of the girls kept me giggling the entire time and Mom & Dad look fabulous together.

Mason - Mayor of the House
So I had a wonderful session, just the other week, with Mason and his Mama. They were two of the brave souls that answered my call for models for some conceptual work. Well we finally had the opportunity to collaborate and I am just tickled pink with the results. Mason is one of the most interesting young men I have ever met. An imagination that makes one wonder where their sense of adventure has gone and a laid back attitude that everyone should embrace, at least for a little while.
We met up down on Main in Farmville, NC and found some great little nooks for the session. Thanks Mason and Kathy for playing along with me - I had a great time working with you both!

JBHx2: Happily Wed!
This one goes out to two of my favorite people, Julie and Justin Hale. I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph their ring ceremony back in October. Julie and Justin were sealed at the Rexburg Temple, Idaho two days prior to their ring ceremony in North Carolina! The event took place at the historic La Grange Presbyterian Church and I had the opportunity of a lifetime to photograph two very dear friends. Thank you Jules and Justin for allowing me to be a part of this long awaited event, I had a fabulous time and can't wait to see you both again!
XO,
Erica

When Julie was a little girl she would peek into the church every chance she got. The day of her ring ceremony was the first time she set foot inside. She was smitten as soon as she walked in.
